Regulatory Compliance

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Distdel Technologies Private Limited operates in strict compliance with the legal, financial, and food safety regulatory frameworks of India. We verify that all listing merchants and logistics protocols adhere to the guidelines set by national authorities.

1. Food Safety Compliance (FSSAI Mandates)

In accordance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, all food business operators (FBOs) listing on our platform must be licensed:

  • Mandatory Verification: Merchants must submit their active 14-digit FSSAI license number during registration. This number is printed on every customer invoice.
  • Hygiene and Storage: Merchants must maintain strict hygiene, food storage, packaging, and allergen warning regulations. The platform conducts regular compliance audits to verify these standards.
  • Suspension Policy: Accounts with expired, suspended, or invalid FSSAI licenses will be removed from the platform immediately.

2. Taxation & Financial Audits (GST & TCS CGST Section 52)

We conform strictly to the regulations of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) council:

  • Tax Collection at Source (TCS): As an e-commerce operator, Distdel collects 1% TCS under Section 52 of the CGST Act on net taxable supplies, depositing it directly with the government on behalf of our merchants.
  • GSTIN Registration: Partners must upload a valid 15-character GSTIN. Tax invoices, commercial commission rates, and payouts reflect these registered GST coordinates.
  • Corporate Auditing: Our financial ledgers, tax filings, and banking deposits are audited annually by certified statutory auditors to ensure compliance with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).

3. Payment Settlement and RBI Guidelines

All payment transactions, escrow account holdings, and settlements are managed in compliance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines for payment aggregators and gateways.

Merchant payouts are cleared through secure escrow accounts to protect merchant earnings. Transaction payouts are processed within T+2 settlement windows following verification of order completion.

4. Grievance Redressal and Fair Trade Policies

In compliance with Consumer Protection Rules for e-commerce, Distdel maintains a transparent mechanism for customer grievances. Our Grievance Redressal Officer resolves issues regarding delivery delays, payments, or merchant services. You can contact them at distdel.dev@gmail.com or via phone at +91 7488168228.
